I peer through to the last word
of the last sentence of the last paragraph of the last story on the last page of the most obscure website on the Internet.
Population - 2 million.
1 million are children.
Another planet! ...of refugees?
...blockaded by land,
by air and sea ...
for over a decade?
I peer through to the conclusion
of every observer of each fact-finding mission cross-checked by every expert on each committee of every human rights organization that matters.
“96% of drinking water
not fit for human
"I've never seen
such massive destruction
I peer through to the last echo
of the last cry on the last shock-wave of the last bomb to incinerate the most repetitively shell shocked child in existence.
And the bombs fall on the planet of Gaza - raining like bullets - tearing through the flesh of those most helpless. A building, a limb - a difference of tone. A hole is a hole - rubble is rubble -
blood doesn't exist
and terror is a bad word.
Another day and another comet plows into another planet in a universe far far away. Not a theory. True. Mirthless. Not poetry.
Something has to give?
I peer through to the last word of the last sentence of the last paragraph of the last story on the last page of the most obscure website on the Internet.
A movement awakens. Demonstrations - “Fully peaceful”. A reverberation begins. People - “trying to breach” their “prison” gate, their “ghetto” wall, their “concentration camp” fence.
There is a crack in everything!
I peer through to the last demonstrator
of every march on the last day of every week calling, for any help, from any one, in any place, on any planet, in any galaxy, of any universe beyond the fence.
The snipers aim. The bullets fly. A physics of fury.
3000, 4000, 5000, .... 8000 plus injured.
Injuries. Purposeful. Devastating by design. No assassin has even been scratched. Trends indicate extreme massacre likely.
I peer through to every last whisper
of every last discussion on every last corner of every last street and every last room and every last closet of the city in which I
Nothing. Silence. Dark Matter.
Conclusion: The earth is flat. It’s all I see. Nothing else. Just flat. The earth is flat I tell you. – And still... Somehow... I hear a sound from that orb so far away.
